The Zeen Design journey started with Director Faisal Hissam, whose fascination with buildings began at a young age. After completing his education abroad, Faisal gained valuable experience working for a renowned international architect and a large engineering firm. His lifelong dream of founding his own company became a reality with the establishment of Zeen Design in Australia.
Faisal brings extensive experience in the international and Australian markets, with a portfolio that includes aviation, commercial, multi-residential, domestic residential, education, industrial, and medical projects of various scales.
Our team comprises four highly experienced designers who share a passion for design and construction. We are proud of our ability to deliver exceptional results, regardless of the project’s size or complexity. With a diverse portfolio that includes industrial, commercial, multi-residential, mixed-use, and boutique developments of varying scales, we possess the necessary expertise and knowledge to deliver projects that are both aesthetically stunning and functionally sound.

Our design approach is centred around producing a comprehensive brief, which outlines the scope of work and expectations of the client. If the client does not have a brief, we work with them to create one. Budget is also a critical factor that helps us identify the design outcome the client is seeking. We listen carefully to the client’s ideas, expectations, and future plans, whether they are investing or developing for themselves.
We analyse the brief and listen to the client to create bubble diagrams and start developing concepts. We always aim to keep things simple and follow the principle that less is more. Collaboration is a critical aspect of our approach, and we work closely with our clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure that we are designing something that will work in reality.
We use 3D visualisation tools to help clients picture and finalise the design before construction begins. Once the concepts are finalised, we produce detailed drawings for the contractor. We remain part of the client’s team throughout the construction period, responding to any queries or comments the builder may have. Our goal is to work seamlessly with the client’s team so that they can relax, knowing that the construction is in good hands.
